Clyde Clifton Lamb, 87, of Wichita Falls, died on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 29, at Sunset Memorial Garden Mausoleum in Lawton, Okla., with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.
Clyde was born in Mt. Pleasant. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. On May 31, 1952, Clyde and Jo Ann Burnett were married in Lawton, Okla. He worked for Best Wall Gypsum/Georgia Pacific in Quanah for 44 years prior to his retirement in 1991. After retiring, the couple moved to Wichita Falls where he continued to enjoy his yard work andgardening.
Along with his parents, Clyde was also preceded in death by a grandson, Quintin Lamb. He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann Lamb of Wichita Falls; daughter, Brenda Newsom and husband, Gary of Quanah, sons, Randy Lamb and wife, Michele of Cleburne, and Danny Lamb and wife, Cindy of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Gary Newsom, Jr. and wife, Traysha, Anjolyn Parrott and husband, Trent, Randall Lamb, Clifton Lamb and wife, Lindy and Dustin Lamb and wife, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Taryn Newsom, Ashtin and Annie Lamb, Julia and Lukas Lamb, and Garyn Pechacek and Trey Parrott.
