Denver Ellen Wilson
| Denver Ellen Wilson, 95, of Quanah, passed away Sunday, March 20, in Childress. Services were held Wed., March 23, at the Goodlett Cemetery with Rev. Monte Lumpkin officiating. Interment under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Quanah. Mrs. Wilson was born October 9, 1920 to the late James Marion and Iva Grace Howard Finely. She married the late Amos Wilson November 2, 1940 in Denton. He preceded her in death February 5, 2005. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was a resident of Hardeman County all of her life and a member of the Goodlett Baptist Church. Survivors include: son, James Wilson, Lazare; two brothers, Coney Finley, Quanah and Everett Finley, Blackswell; six grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren. Wilson was preceded in death by her son, Harvey Wilson. Family suggests memorials to your favorite charity. |
